Sumitomo HTR Z II - 245's or 255's? (archive)

These tires look real interesting. And they come in many good sizes. I have 17 inch rims coming for my 1990 535 5spd and am now deciding on tires. I like the idea of having wider tires in the rear, particularly because it'll get the power to the road better, and it should help pulling out onto high speed roads into traffic, to prevent the ass end from wagging!

I'm interested in the Sumitomo HTR Z II - 235's for the front, and either the 245's or the 255 for the rear. What do you all think?

I expect to have a separate set of winter tires for next year on my stock rims FYI. I live in the Chicago metropolitin area. Thanks all.....Ed
