Brake Pad Pref? KVT, EBC Green?For street driving (archive)

I am planning on going with Carbon Fiber pads - a friend of mine said that they are great for braking on the street and have little dust. Any one had experience with these? Any one suggest a good pad to complement gas slotted rotors? I am going to do my brakes soon. Turn the rear / replace the front rotors with gas slotted - not sure about pads though. Was thinking EBC green stuff or KVR Carbon Fiber... not sure yet. Any input is appreciated.
