I was watching and still can't believe he died. The crash didn't look that hard. Still, Darryl Waltrip in the booth called it - said that it was much harder than it looked and man oh man I guess he was right.

I've come to appreciate NASCAR and the quality of racing they provide week after week. It's hard to watch a driver you know - and that NASCAR works hard to help you know - die on the track.

It's a shame...my condolences to the family and fans of Dale Sr. NASCAR lost one it's best today.
