Help '94 530i engine and rear-end (archive)

Hi, I got mine 1994 530i with 5speed (one owner 'company car' always services by the dealer )a few months ago with 287,925 miles and love it very much.....but the lower part of the engine had a funny noise and need to be work-on now (need help ?...or know how to locate one ? )....and the rear-end is noisy too....I love this car....but I guess have to spend a lot of money Now ?....any suggestions or helps .....thanks.
