No problems with rubbing. You'll need one thing though: hubcentric adapter rings. They're like $3 each from Tire Rack. The reason is b/c the style 32 rims in sizes 17x8 & 17x9 are made for e39s, not e34s. You'll need the rings to make them fit. Just make sure you request that they wrap those babies nicely; my first set from them were all bent from shipping, causing intolerable delays. The tire sizes should be 235/45-17 fronts and 255/40-17 rears. I've heard great things about Pole Positions, but I've personally used and recommend the Bridgestone RE730s. They do 95% of what their bigger brothers can do at a fraction of the price. They last 2x as long. And did I mention that their phenomenal grip, dry and wet? Remember, tires are your single biggest factor in vehicle dynamics.
Overall, I love my setup (can't wait to switch back from the winter combo). But if I had to do it all over again, I'll put RE730s on the absolute lightest rims possible - maybe the Mille Miglia MM11-2 Sport from Tire Rack. Don't get me wrong, the Radials handle superbly, I'm just more into driving involvement than class. But if you have your heart set on those stunning rims, knock yourself out. I'm sure you'll be happy with them. Good luck!Jack

Did you have any problems with the width of the rear wheels? All the places I've checked don't list 17x9 as an option size for the 530. By the way, how does it handle and what tires do you have? Thinking about the Bridgestone Potenza Pole positions. Thanks
