If it *is* a lifetime fluid, you should have a dedicated BMW mechanic look at it. If it's regular ATF, just go to Mr. Lube.

Here's the BMW mechanic I use in the Toronto area. It's Don Katsumi at Autotrend (416)696-2277. www.autotrend.net He's on Broadview at O'Connor. Great guy, used to be service manager at Beach Auto back when they were the country's best Bimmer dealer (and not selling Kias! LMAO!).

I have a 1995 525i that has just broke 100K kms last week. I know that the tranny fluid that is currently in the car is supposed to last the life of the car, but I do not believe that. I think that the fluid is due for a change and I do not know much about the matter. Can anyone tell me if I should go ahead and change the fluid and if so, what type of fluid should I use. I live in Toronto and I was wondering if anyone has done this in the area, and if so, where did you take your car to get it done? Anyone's advice or knowledge in the matter would be greatly appreciated.
