What could be draining my battery? (archive)

I took my car to an alternator shop a few weeks ago and he said that the only thing that is drawing current from my battery is my car alarm. For some reason, my battery is not reacharging, or is just not powerful enough (900+ CA). Do you think I need a new alternator or what?
