I haved owned my 1990 E34 for about 7 months. Although I am a devout German automobile fan, I have notice that this car has considerable chassis flex. Not only that, I test drove E39 540 and noticed they too have inherent chassis flex.

Incidentally, my father has an E38 7series and it seems to exhibit very minimal chassis flex. It is ironic that a car of a longer wheel base has less and a car of smaller base has more chassis flex. The E-class mercedes is known for near zero chassis flex (probably the only car in the world).
I drove once an E30 M3, and man I swear, that E30 chassis was carved out from a metal tossed out from hell.

Anyway, these are my opinions. I want to know to what extent my views hold true, and what you guys have to input.
