Hey Buddhi,

I just had a set of SP5000's put on Friday afternoon. I drove them in the rain on the way home and just got back from a rainy weekend getaway in Asheville. They are a lot of tire for the money and I think it was probably one of the best $70 decisions I made. It ended up costing more because of installation and an allignment, but they are a very good tire. I heard everyone rave about them and I must agree, a very good tire, especially for the money. If you want to try them out before buying them, let me know and I will be happy to take you for a spin.

Best,
Rory

tires.com is having a special on the 4000's ($48).
I found a previous post about the SP4000 that seemed positive.

Why am I being such a penny pincher when I could buy the 5000s for $70? What with the control arm assembly replacement, torque converter and the bent wheels -- I really need to save as much as I can. I live in GA, so the weather is pretty mild. I am an enthusiastic driver but not all the time. What do you guys think? 4000 or 5000? TIA
