Alpine makes 2 models that change display colors (that was my requirement also): The 7969 (which I have) and the 7965. The 7969 has a boat load of features, optical out, copper chassis, remote control and a the display "hides" when the car is off so it looks like the face-place has been removed. I would really like to keep with the amber illumination on the displays which seems to limit my choices. Also, I have a Sony 10 Disc chgr in the boot that needs to work with the head unit. Any suggestions would be welcome. TIA
