I had a similiar problem when I changed the coolant in my 740i. It turns out when they refilled the coolant there was like an "air" bubble of some type, and I kept getting a coolant level low light message. I took it back to teh dealer and they just reflushed and refilled the system and it's been fine ever since (6 mos ago).



Over the past week, my control panel has been intermittently flashing the "COOLANT LEVEL" warning. Looking at the reservoir, the level is maybe 1/8" below the recommended arrow if that much. Could the sensor be broken or is it really that sensitive in a 13 quart system??
