I have a 92 535 that is prewired for the factory bmw alarm, and I have no remote (but who does).
I found a New Alpine 8051 but it also has no remote, but I can get one with the code chips for $50 bucks.
My Q is will it just "plug" in and work like everyone says.
I really dont want to waste $50 bucks if it will not work.
Has anyone replace their bmw alarm witha "red badged" alpine and got it to work?
Ganks
