Just did my car and had about the same amount of unevent wear, but my left front caliper was shot.

Details at
http://AndrewFischer.tripod.com/bmw/brakejob.html

BTW does anyone know if the driver and passenger side rotor and pad wear should be within a specific range of each other. The front driver side pads were worn about 3 mm more than the passenger side, and the driver side rotor was more worn also. I think it has been a while since the brakes were last bled, so I was thinking that something could have been restricting flow to the passenger side. The brakes always worked great, so I never noticed it driving, and it never pulled to one side under braking either. The rear stuff was pretty much even.

Thanks,

Sean Horton
