They keep all that stuff on record....for instance I just got a letter 2 days ago about the radiator cap recall....and I just bought my e34 in late October (its parked now) and havent even registered it yet in Wisconsin but BMWNA still got my address somehow. They were also able to tell me what dealer my car was originally bought from and when, lease return, etc.



Your dealer willt ell you when it was done if you come in in person witht he car. When I bought my car from a Mercedes Dealership (trade-in) the local BMW dealer that inspected it even printed out the past five years of service history for me!
