I have the same problem with my 91 525i. Sounds like an air leak around the windshield or side windows.. The faster you go the louder it gets.

I recently became the owner of a 1995 525 Touring (Sport Wagon). At speeds above about 50MPH there seems to be a lot of wind noise coming from the hood, wipers and or mirrows. Is this a known problem and are there any fixes?

I'm used to the quiet of my 1987 528e.
