Bummer, I would lose the briefcase: ) (archive)

Self inflicted injury....I banged the brass foot of my brief case on the side of the car, chipped the paint and put on a nice scratch. I will hit it with touch up paint and some polish and cross my fingers (but it will still be there).
If it had happened at work or in a parking lot some where I wouldn't have minded so much but to do it myself is well.....shameful.
I hope it doesn't blow another hose out of spite!
