"Goo-Gone", a citrus cleaner (K-Mart, etc.) works slick. Test it first, under side of rear seat bottom for example, to make sure it doesn't remove the leather dye with it. If you go ahead & use it, clean the area right away with saddle soap, Leatherique, etc.

My wife tried to pick it off clean and left small bits of residue that needs to be removed. I wonder if freezing will work on that?

Also am told that peanut butter gets it out of hair?

(always empty kid's mouths and pockets before letting them near the car... never, ever go through a drive through eating place...ever ever ever ever!)
