Was riding along with the family today and all the sudden smoke started coming from everywhere. Stopped the car and looked underneath......transmision fluid was leaking out rapidly.Drove the car back home and it shifted fine(89-535i Auto)Just a big pool of tranny fluid. Did i blow some seal ...advice please.
Guess this means Im not runnin at the track tommorrow.

Easy way to check if it is the A/T frt pump seal.
Idle the engine in P and look for ATF slowly runnig out of the bellhousing .3-4 hrs job plus parts about $50. Don't drive it till fixed or cause MAJOR damage!
