Did you ever consider adding some stuffing to the side bolsters. There leather sticks out, but if you push on it, like the weight of your body it collapses really easily. I checked the side bolster on my '99 540i sport 6spd, with the sport seats and when I try to push on the side bolsters, they are much firmer. I am in the process of researching this method. I hope others may look into this also.

I was lacking support when cornering during the driving school. Because I don't have any children, I can give up some plave on the rear seats.

Anyone with 3 points belts?
