OBC - need help (archive)

Hi,

i installed an OBC in my car, but now some functions won't work. For example the speed and the consumption. The display says --.- Mph or --.- l/100 etc.
do i need a dme to use an OBC?

i left some cables uninstalled:
cables for diagnostic(pins 3 and 16)
one cable of the dme(the other goes into the "tachometer-modul")
cables of the independent vehicle heater

and the cable that should tap the speed out of the tachometer.. i don't know where to put it. I tried some cables, but the display still says --.-

can someone help me?
i am german and i would like to apologize for my bad english..
