a/c condensor/ air conditioning (archive)

what do i need to retro my r12 a/c to a r134 a a/c.
i was told that i only need a recieve drier. and replace thr oil in my compressor. also conversion fittingsthat screw into the r12 fittings. any way i do need a new compressor so i will get a new one. i priced compressor and was told that they sell one compressor and that can be used for r12 or 134a.


2- how do get into to replace the condensor


3- also my a/c switch does not work when i push it in for a/c, i assume its not going to work until i get freon in the system , is that true
