I am currently in the market for an e34 and I'm considering both the 2.5 and 3.5 motors. If I go for the 2.5 I'd rather have a '93 and up for the vanos but a dealer who I spoke with warned that "all BMWs 93-95 had the Nikasil blocks". I thought this only was used in the V8 motors. Please advise. If anyone has or knows of a 91-94 e34 for sale less than $10K (preferably in the south-I'm in NC) I would appreceiate the lead.
