Changed coolant sensor- still get COOLANT LEVEL (archive)

So I celebrated Sunday morning with a refreshing bath of coolant while changing my coolant level sensor, which I presumed was bad, as I'd been getting the coolant level warning despite a new radiator/WP last year, and a PERFECT coolant level in the overflow tank. No runs, drips or erros after replacing the sensor, and I pulled the battery terminal for 30 minutes (while Vinylexing the back seat to remove baby formula - that's another story)to brain the computer. When I hooked everything back up, bang- still get the warning message. I have only gotten this when the car is cold. If I drive enough to get it up to temp, I don't get the warning when re-starting the car warm. Anyone with any ideas? TIA!
