I have a Colgan hood-only bra, but fitment has been a bit of an issue. It looks in your picture as though you are bringing the straps for the hood bra straight back - I couldn't find anything there to connect to that didn't interfere with the rear hinges. Some people mentioned that they connect them straight across. While I have yet to try it, I fear that the straps may be very close to the fan in that mode.

What, praytell, did you connect the straps to?

I lost 2 headlights to rocks in construction zones and actually counted myself lucky that those rocks did not hit unprotected paint. While I do think that the bra breaks up some near perfect e34 body lines, I am more than happy to protect the paint!
