I replaced the thermostat, radiator and hoses, and the fan. When the car comes to a stop light in 90 degree weather, the temperature starts riding to the red part, and ultimately overheats. when the car starts moving, then the temperature moves back to the middle. the first thing i notice to go is the air condition when at a stop light, and then the car starts to overheat, and only in 90 degree weather too!

also, in the morning when i start the car and turn on the air condition, i get this loud grinding sound coming from the bottom of the car, like i'm grinding my gears, but this is an automatic car.

thanks for anyone's help.
