Is it the Pioneer or Alpine CD? 6-disk right? Mine (Pioneer) used to do that but switched to a new cartridge & that fixed it. Could not see any defect or difference between them.

Had the battery die and when we got the new one installed (after entering my code) the changer won't even look to see if 3,4, or 5 has a disk...

Any ideas?
