i went and started my 85 535i this afternoon and right when i started it, the rpm's hopped way up to 2-3grand, dove back down to .5rpm's over and over again, up and down,up and down. Then, when i put it into reverse i flew backwards, when i put it into drive, i was going 15mph without even touching the gas! Now this evening i went out to start it and the rpm's didn't jump around but the idle was extremely high [around 3.5]. I checked to throttle cable up i the engine compartment and it wasn't overtightened at all.
somebody please help!!!!!!!!!!!!111
