My guess is that it was optional if you can't find the switch that disables it, and you've also never seen it light up before. Might just be there because your dash was designed for it as an option.

Just a GUESS, remember! :)


There is no switch for traction control on my '93 525i 5-speed, well, at least I have yet to find one in plain sight. Was traction control standard or optional?
