Thanks, Ted. Now that I've been doing some research, I need to ask for clarification: Is the E34 the factory designation for the '92 525i? I would like to buy the chain-driven 5-series sedan. I was told that the M50 engine came out in '92 and is one of the best BMW ever made. True?
