I am in the same boat ('91 535iA). Also thinking along the same lines (E39 or E46 - leaning toward the E46). Then I found this wonderful site mobile.de through Micah. I cant even go to sleep anymore without having visions of 340HP 3.8 Inline Sixes invading my dreams. All to be had for under $15K (even with Federalization and shipping its still a steal!). I am hoping to make the pigrimage to Bavaria sometime next year. Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll come back with a Jewel. ; )
