If it's anything like mine, there is no bulb just 3 red LEDs. Mine wasn't working and it turned out to be a broken wire right where the wires come out of the knob.

If you carefully pry the logo off the top you can separate it from the light assembly as it is secured with a ring of soft gummy adhesive. Once the logo is off, the light diffuser is held down by a screw. Remove the screw and pull up. The LEDs are on a PCB which then lifts out and the wires will pull out of the knob.

I replaced my wires with flexible #20AWG test probe wire. Replacement is reverse.
