the best technique varies depending on your engines output. On a all stock car i always launch. if you have manuel you can pop the clutch, but i have a auto, so yeah you hold the brake and floor it. of couse this puts strain on your driveline components, drag racing beats the shiz out of your car. i doubt you could spin the wheels on your 535i, if you can get different tires, the pop of the wheels regaining traction kills your driveline like no other. happy racing, if you live in socal race me :)
