: I have a '94 530i. Right now it is running good. I am keeping my fingers crossed. You better figure in the cost of engine replacement if you plan on keeping the car long term. There have not been any 200,000 miles nikasil engines that I have heard about out there. Be sure you go to www.530i.org. I like my car, but if I had a chance to do it over again, I would get a 535. You could spend the same or less and get one of those.
