The red plus sign means you have more messages/warnings on your instrument display ...push the right display button (opposite your trip odometer reset) and it should give you more info.

Try pushing the turnsignal stalk in and hold it... wait for PROG1 to appear on the dash display. Then push any buttons on the OBC that you want to display on your instrument display in the order you want to see them. Then push the turnsignal stalk and you should see the out put. I think however, that the warnings take priority over the OBC readings and you will have to fix whatever you are being warned about.
