this only means that the refineries did away with the MTBE formula, and the $3 per gallon gas price is the result of the more expensive alcohol-based additives on the gasoline...MTBE destroys not only the environment, but also your car's rubber parts on the fuel lines (fuel pump, etc).
Has anybody done research on what ALCOHOL-based gas will do to the nicasil engines???
