Help on tire pressures please (archive)

Greetings,
Well I actually have 2 questions and searching the archives didn't help.

1. Why the diference in recommended tire pressures for US and Canada and the rest of the world? Anyone know?

2. What is a good comfortable tire pressure for the standard Michelin 205/65/15 tire? Car is never fully loaded. Usually just me and the wife.
