after taking a little 80 mile trip i got stuck in some traffic and had to sit for about 7 or 8 minutes when the Collant Temperature warning light came on, Folowed by the Check Engine light. I paniced. The strange thing is once I started moving the temp gauge backed off a little.

So we did a little experiment today. We just turned it on and let it sit in the driveway idling. After about 12 minutes, it was in the red.

The big fan was spinning ok, the little fan in the front was spinning and it was only about 70 degrees outside. As far as we can tell the collant level is fine.
During regular driving the needle sits pretty close to the middle...

where do we start?
