The octane is not as critical as the sulphur (archive)

Hello all,

What type of fuel should I be putting into my bimmer to give my engine a little more time?

The "standard" over here in the UK is 95 Octane Premium Unleaded and its what BMW recommends. However the last couple of times i have put in Super Unleaded (97 Octane), which is designed for the higher powered engines - and I find that the car does run a little better...

Whats your advice?
