content. You should be able to locate the supplier of your fuel and get the sulphur content on the net. If not call your local station and ask them for the info. Compare all local brands and octanes. The lower the sulphur the better.


Hello all,

What type of fuel should I be putting into my bimmer to give my engine a little more time?

The "standard" over here in the UK is 95 Octane Premium Unleaded and its what BMW recommends. However the last couple of times i have put in Super Unleaded (97 Octane), which is designed for the higher powered engines - and I find that the car does run a little better...

Whats your advice?
