In Reply to: Question about wheel hubs & thrust arm bearings... posted by Dan on June 17, 2001 at 20:33:59:

Wheel bearing procedure will on the on website tonight. Easy job, no special tools needed except a big torque wrench, I won't put all the details here because I am writing a procedure.

You are not obliged to change them by pair, but it is probably a good thing to do.

If you never changed your thrust arms bushings, just buy the whole arm with 750i bushings (cost around $80-$100 or you can buy a "made in tawain" copy for $70). Or Thrust arms with normal bushings for less.
If you want to know why 750i bushings, check the website.

I won't even compare the prices with Bavauto or BMP.
Another trick, save at least $50 tp $100 by buying exactly the same items from BMA (www.bmaautoparts.com) or other resellers. But again, maybe you like the nice Bavauto catalogue.
