disco air conditioning, help! (archive)

hey all, I drove from new jersey to cleveland on friday and toward the end of the trip the a/c button started to blink, then the recircluate button started to blink as well even thouhg i hadn't touched it. after a few minutes, the air got warm and the a/c didn't work all sat(with the same symptoms). I started driving back sunday and it seemed to be working fine. any ideas what's up?
