Looking at the ETK, it looks like there's a plug and grommet that go around the trunk button.

Plug: 51 71 1 927 439
Grommet: 51 71 1 932 996

The ETK also lists a different P/N for the cover, 51 13 2 252 795.

thanx joe!

i tried looking at the bimmer parts cd (etk right?), and it is hard to tell what is needed. the trim snaps on at the top, and this kinda holds it in place. i found that the four screws that you also use to screw down the license plate, is sufficient in holding the trim in place.

there is a part for the trunk opener, which fills in the space between that and the trim. i have not gotten this yet. i need to find a part number. i may take it to the dealer to find out what it is.

if i remember correctly, i paid around $50. got mine at bmwstore.com.
