I've heard that a higher percentage of autos had their engines replaced than the manual cars, because the guys with stick shifts were more likely to take the car into the higher revs. So floor that sonofabitch every chance you get. ;)


As for Nikasil engine, I believe opening the throttle for spirited driving helps burn those damaging & lingering sulphur in the engine.
