I am not sure if the thrust arm bushing failures are mileage related. On my first e34 I replaced them at 42K miles ('94 530i) and on my second e34 ('95 525iTA) I replaced them at 95k miles. The 750i bushings are still lasting a long time. Jim

I'm looking at a '95 525iT right now with 44K on the odo. It has a shimmy under normal braking from about 40mph. BMW inspection says it's the thrust arm bushings, but is 44K to low for this to happen. Should I be suspicious of this car because of this?
