If it sucks so bad them why does:
A NASCAR race avg over 100K fans per race over 34 races. Their will be 200k to 250k people in Daytona this w/e to watch a night race.
FOX/NBC pay NASCAR $2.4B to televise over the next 6 years. thats about $10M per race. I know they paid this much because it sucks?
I'll be you that more people in the US watch a NASCAR race on TV than watch a F1 race in the World.
Why does the Brickyard 400 at Indy have a bigger attendance than the Indy 500 or the F1 race at Indy? I know becasue the racing is so good for ??????
If NASCAR driver drive in circles then would not they know a bit about "apices and turn dynamics" as you call it?????
Seems to me that most in INDY/F1 races, the drivers are racing the tracks and not each other. When was the last time you saw INDY/F1 drivers go into a turn at 180MPH 3 wide? Never, because its not CLOSE racing!!!
NASCAR is not racing. Racing requires skills and knowledge of apices and turn dynamics. NASCAR drivers drive their cars in frickin circle. Drafting in a circle is not fun to watch. Just because the cars go fast and have tons of hp, doesn't automatically qualify it to be racing. I have respect for everyone's opinion on this board, and this is just my opinion. F1 kicks ass and so does indy.
