I am interested to see some pictures of an e34 Touring with the factory Sports suspension installed. I recently bought the BMW Sport springs for my touring, and so far I have the fronts installed. I am running 16" wheels/tires at the moment, but would like to see 1) what the factory 17" sport wheel looked like, and 2) how a factory installed sports suspension looks on our wagons. (What year is your car?)

Also - do you have the self level rear on your wagon? I had the option to buy the rear sport springs to work with my current self level rear, but decided to get the springs for the NON-leveled rear and swap out the self level system in favor of a less expensive maintenance rear end.

Thanks - some pics thru the link----

I have a 525 TDS Touring with factory optional 17" and Sports suspension (slightly lowered)

Front is 17x7 with 235/45-17
rear is 17x9 with 255/40-17

Car looks and drives frist class, no rubbing whatsoever.

I have a 92 525iT. I am looking to put some aftermarket wheels and tires on. I have some questions about what to get.
1. What is the largest/widest tire you can put on an 17" wheel and it not rub anywhere?

2. Same question as above but with an 18" wheel?

3. What is the lug pattern and offset for my car?

4. Does anyone run a slightly narrower tire in the front than in the rear?

I really dont like the superlow profile tires that are on some cars (40 and 35 series). I would think that they would cause a harsh ride.

Thanks in advance,
Jason
