Replacing head gasket (archive)

I'm going to examine my 525 TDS tomorrow and replace the head gasket, and I'm trying to find some information about this job. I know I should read it in my Bentley, but I haven't bought it yet. So is there anyone who might have the procedure in details ?? There is some good information on www.bmwe34.net but it doesn't have all the exact details.
Or should I really wait until I get my Bentley ?
