Literally, that's it's name, it's a 12 oz. +/- can off additive you pour in the tank. I think it sells for $10 or so at most auto parts places. I would guess it's a more volatile solvent which temporarily gets the combustion to burn clean enough to pass emissions or your money back, hence it's name. Be sure to change the oil right afterwards.

Is there a way to retard ignition timing on 94 525ia? I need to do this just to pass CA emission test. It had high HC 170 ( spec=100 ppm )at idle. It has new spark plugs, and air filter already. I don't think that O2 sensor is the problem because CO for both Idle and Cruise is way below spec. On older car, if I just retard Ignition to lower end of spec, I know it will pass with no problem.
Any and all suggestions welcome.
