1993 Model 525 --- Cylinder Head Cover Gasket (archive)

I have the M50 engine and I changed the plugs the other day. After taking off the cylinder head (Valve) cover I found that the spark plugs sit in the bottom of a hole about 6 inches deep and about 1.25 inches in diameter.

Well, four of the six spark plug pockets had quite a bit of oil sitting in them. I am surprised that the oil covering the outside of the plug doesn't short out the spark from the coil.

Anyway, the seals between the cylinder head cover and the cylinder head are obviously leaking and allowing the oil to pool in the spark plug pocket.

Can anyone direct me to instructions on how to replace the cylinder head cover gasket? I seem to recall this has been mentioned in the past but at the time it didn't mean anything to me. My search of the archives was unsuccessful.

All comments are welcome.
