I did in my '93 525i, throttle response at idle is much improved, but overall horsepower and torque seem unchanged, but it has a mean growl to it under acceleration :). I love it, and I don't want to change it. I have no heat shield in it yet, and I'm sure that will bring a bit of power since it will be colder air than the underhood temperatures. So, let me know how yours turns out. I had to buy a rubber hose to make it fit onto the MAS. I took off my entire air box assembly and engineered a bracket for it out of home speaker mounts (don't ask me how I did it, I'm not sure myself, but it hold up well)
